The Cp8 video (mp4) does not read in Windows Media Player anymore...

Hello all,

I need help...I publish my captivate 8 videos as mp4 as usual.

They are to be launch in the course in internet explorer or individually with windows media player.

In the past the users could launch the videos....and from a few days, they can not see them, the course displays an empty grey screen, with only the control bar at the bottom....and the videos does not play with WMP (only with VLC).

Could you help me? Should I change a few settings in my publication properties?

    Is this course currently being delivered from an LMS or web server?

    If so, then you may find that something has been changed on that server which has now prevented these videos from being seen.  Get your server admins to check permissions for the mimetype of this video format.

    We are only in the development phase so I share the videos and courses on our server...I think you might be right, this is usually a problem with these shared folders...
