Unable to Get Adobe 9.0.2.437 HTML5 Projects to Work in IBooks as HTML5 Widget.

Is anyone having issues adding CP 9.0.2.437 HTML5 project to iBooks as HTML widgets?

For some reason, I'm not able to get any of my CP 9 HTML5 projects to function in iBooks (via iBooks Author).  I'm following all of the prescribed instructions provided by Apple.  I've had success creating interactive widgets for iBooks previously using CP 7/8. I'm wondering if when Adobe updated CP9 to use JSON files more efficiently for mobile use....that update might have thrown a monkey wrench into things working in iBooks??

BTW, when I say that I can't get a CP 9 project to work in an iBook - I've even made a simple project that just had a single slide that just said hello - not fancy buttons, graphics, or etc. - that did not even work.

What happens on the iBook end is that when you tap to open the widget, it will either open the default image fullscreen and not show anything else, or will open and just show the preloader animated circle spinning and nothing else happens.

What is interesting, is that the CP iBook widget is acting just like my projects worked after Adobe did their last update to CP 9 - I had to have our IT web server admins activate JSON mime types on our servers and then newly created CP 9 projects went back to working great as always.

I sincerely would appreciate any direction or help on this matter if possible.

Me too, I can't get them to work either, very frustrating.  Hope someone has an answer as I've contacted someone over Adobe Chat and they were very nice, but they couldn't help me either. But it doesn't help that I'm quite new to this anyway so I'm not sure of what I'm doing in the first place. Just trying to follow instructions which are rather sketchy.  Any help would be really appreciated, cheers

Hi does anyone have a work around for this at all?  I don't fancy rolling back to an earlier version due to the bug fixes, don't want to tempt fate?   Thanks

I have an update related to my issue/question above!

We have found that If you roll the Captivate version clock back to version to either 9.0.0 or 9.0.1 that HTML5 produced will work as widgets in iBooks.

I'm thinking when Adobe reconfigured how Captivate 9.0.2.437 publishes projects with better code/JSON making things run so much better on mobile devices it may have caused some issue with how iBooks uses widgets.

I think Adobe did an amazing job with having Captivate leverage resources differently so that projects work much smoother/quicker on mobile devices!

My team has notified Apple of the issue just in case there is something they will be able to help fix.  Captivate is an awesome interactive development tool, and I hope that Adobe/Apple can get things ironed out so that Captivate can still be an excellent tool for developing interactive widgets for use in iBooks!
