When text is added to a text caption box that is set to center the text vertically, the variable text is only centered on the baseline of first line of the wrapped text. The entire body of the text does not center. is there a way to correct this?

Which version are you using? How did you test? Did you publish? Text containers (captions and shapes) with included variables are dynamic text, they'll be evaluated on runtime, contrary to normal static text containers. Is this for SWF or HTML output?

Captivate 9, I've tested in preview and published to computer using all options available. I've used shapes and text captions. It still does the same thing.

Can you mention the exact version of Captivate 9 [ Help > About Adobe Captivate ] and also your machine specifications.

Is this for a particular project or any newly created project?

    Thanks,
