Video demo system audio capture not working in Windows Captivate 8 or 9

Hi,

I'm trying to record the waveform and sound of a heart recording played in Audacity using Captivate Video Demo (for an interaction to teach our students how to identify heart sounds).

This worked once for me, but I've tried loads of times and failed to get the system audio capture working since. I'm running Bootcamp Windows 7 on a macbook pro. I did check the system audio checkbox and tried without the external monitor which has speakers. I tried the tips here to change the settings from the speaker icon https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1821602. I also tried booting into macOS, installing captivate and following this guide to install soundflower etc: https://forums.adobe.com/message/7712533#7712533. After a bit of fiddling it worked once but never again .

I'd be grateful for any tips - at the moment I can see myself manually importing the sound file and trying to synchronise it with the mute video clip of the sound playing which I'd be happy to avoid!

Many thanks,

Sonya
