WHERE IS THE CAPTIVATE 8 *****FULL****** INSTALLER????

This is so stupid. Did it not occur to anyone people might have a need to reinstall 8?

    The non-Adobe staff has always provided the best help here. I've relied on them for years and thank them.

    To Adobe-employed readers, you ought to know that by the time a user gets here to ask a question, the answer to the question was not easily found through customary means. Adobe support has been in decline for years, and not making the Captivate 8 installer obviously and easily available when 9 just hit the market is an excellent example of a bad decision.

    People have to reinstall all the time. You haven't made it easy today. I see no consideration here to the user's situation, that people are busy, that they're working on projects for clients and don't have time to hunt through a Byzantine path of links to get to something as basic as an installer.

    Let me repeat my question: what are the exact steps a person needs to follow to reach an installer download for Captivate 8?

    John, it's normal Adobe policy to only offer up the newest version. At least for the trial download. If you have a licensed version, surely you have a file you downloaded. And if you purchased from Adobe, there is typically a portal with a special link where you can visit and re-download. And in the event you received physical media, such as an installation DVD, you would have that.
