Question

Why Adobe's FPS so inferior to Camtasia??????? Even in 2018!

Hi:

I have a question on Video Output Frames Per Second (FPS) for Adobe Presenter 11.1

Udemy's minimum requirement is 30 FPS.

If CAMTASIA can provide 60 FPS output, I don't understand why Adobe is still in 1920's with 15 FPS (I'm using Video express 2017 Version)...

So, is this - Adobe Presenter 11.1  - better in terms of FPS output, or again one more pathetically inferior product upgrade from Adobe that doesn't match CAMTASIA's basic output level?

Hi there

I'm an avid Camtasia fan and I regularly participate in both Adobe forums as well as TechSmith forums.

Where are you seeing that Camtasia is capable of outputting 60fps?

I ask because that's long been a frustration point over in the Camtasia forums. I see all kinds of posts expressing frustration that Camtasia CANNOT and DOES NOT produce 60fps video.

I'm aware that in a few places it may allow you to enter a value that leads you to believe Camtasia is capable of this, but the bottom line is that it isn't. The TechSmith developers have indicated that 60fps is "on their radar", but they just aren't there yet.

Cheers... Rick
