Word background markings showing up in training simulation?

Hi. Forgive me if this has been addressed before. I checked and didn't see anything.

I am using Captivate 2017 to create a software training simulation, the kind where the user is prompted to click themselves through the simulation. My simulation involves manipulating an MS Word document.

Everything looks fine in the Captivate preview. I've tried browser preview, an HTML 5 preview. Everything looks fine.

But when I publish the file and look at the results of the published file, all these Word background markings - lines (horizontal and vertical) and dashes - are showing up on the simulation of the Word file.

Has anyone seen anything like this before? If so, what did you do about it?

Thanks

Scott H.

Do you see the gray lines under the text caption? These only show in the published file.

What is the slide quality set to? Go into Prefernces Project, Size and Quality. Tunr off the compression if it is checked and try to republish.

I'm not sure to understand, could you insert a screenshot to show what you mean? After publishing, did you upload to a webserver or a LMS?

I uploaded to an LMS called Vi Desktop. Here is a screenshot. Can you see

all the lines on the page under the caption?
