WTH? CP2017 Anomoly

Question

Anyone ever seen this?My project is the one with the red arrow above it.... the project image is gone. It just disappeared this morning.I have:closed and restarted CPrebooted the computer and restarted CPI am updated to the latest versions of my OS and CPDidn't work. In 4 years, using CP every day, I have not seen this.If so, how the heck do I fix it?

Hi Rod, thanks for responding.How do I reset my preferences, and if I do, what will that effect or do to my existing project? Im in lesson 3 of 8... 5 more to build!You need administrator rights. In a subfolder 'utils' under the installation folder find the file CleanPreferences... corresponsiding with your OS. Run that file while Captivate is closed. It will have no effect on existing files, but you could lose customisation. I summarized what can be lost and recovered in this blog post:Captivate 8.0.1 Install? Keep your Customisation! - Captivate blog When restarting Captivate, a fresh folder will be created in your profile.

Project is fine, so far... and I have bigger fish to fry, like audio simply not playing in HTML5 and, audio playing over top other files and, even if you click mute, some slide audio still plays..
