Documentation is incorrect for the syntax in ColdFusion 10. In ColdFusion 10, the function only takes a single attribute. Regardless of what you call the attribute, the function accepts:

no parameter: Should return both object and template cache configurations, but currently doesn't. Filed as bug 3208819.

object: Returns the config for the OBJECT cache

template: Returns the config for the TEMPLATE cache

"region": Returns the config for the custom cache region

Essentially, "region" should just become a value of the Type attribute.
