cfimage - modify image color

Hi All,

I've been looking at writing a process where a user uploads a black and white / grey scale image then selects a color from a color picker field in a form and the greay scale image gets transformed into that selected color.

Can cfimage handle this or will I need a custom tag...also has anyone come accross such a custom tag ?

I looked at cfimage and I cant see this anywhere in the CF dicumentation.

Any help will be great before I say no to the client...!
