cflayout tab control

Hi

I am using cflayout with two layers of tabs. First layer has four tabs lets say june,july,august,september and each tab has three tabs on the next layer sales,news,misc. If I am in "august" and "news" then clicking "july" resets second tab to first entry ie "sales". More logical for this layout is to click "july" and keep the second tab on "news" ie preserving the second tab choice.

This seems a reasonable request but cant see how to do it from the docs. help!
