Error CF10 Install - Admin

Question

I have installed CF10 developer on a WinXP, IIS 5.1 box. Per docs this should be OK.Once basic install is complete the Admin errors with

You are not authorized to view this page

The install created the virtual directories, Integrated Win Authenticate is off, .cfm is registered in defaults.

This had been a problem with CF 9 also.

Any help is appreciated. Current clients are all CF8, sooner or later they will need an upgrade.

Hi

You should first try installing with default server option and see if it can launch ColdFusion 10 Administrator or not. If it works fine then the issue is of user permission in IIS.

Try to configure the connector using wsconfiguration tool. Let me know if that works or not.
