Help with Ajax (CF 8 and Dreamweaver 9)

New to Ajax. Looked through the LiveDocs and they were of absolutely *no* help. First question: Is Dreamweaver 9 aware of the new Ajax tags? None of them are showing up for me in the reference and Dreamweaver itself doesn't seem to know what they are (no popups/help/hints appear).

2nd question: Anyone have any sample code on how to acheive cascading dropdowns in a form using the new Ajax tags? I have old code that has a complicated form (i.e. many elements) and want to add a cascading dropdown to it.

Thanks in advance.

"Spry 1.6.1 Updater". And it is checked. Still nothing.

The only other thing I can suggest is to uninstall the extension and start again.

When you say DW 9 you do mean DW CS3 don't you ?

Silly question, but when you go to the "insert" menu, there is no option for Spry ?

I downloaded and installed the extension, rebooted DW (I am running DW CS3) and it still doesn't seem to know about the spry/ajax tags. What am I doing wrong? Posted also to the DW forum but got no response.

    Go to "Help" "Manage Extensions"

Ensure that Spry 1.6 is there and that the checkbox is checked.

    Question 1
The spry tags (ajax) are a DW extension.
    You can get them here

    Question 2
There are numerous examples on the above link, just go to the spry home page.
