Double Charged

I missed a payment on July, so today I changed my credit card information so that it could be billed. However, I was charged double which I don't understand for the following reasons:

  1. My plan began on the 20th of October,2019 (I am billed the 20th of every month) I payed all the way to the month of June
  2. There was an error in payment for the month of July (due to canceling my debit card for other reasons) which equates one missed payment.
  3. I changed my card info. today, which finally allowed adobe to charge the payment for the month of July, however, I was charged double.
  4. I have only missed one payment, and my next payment is on the 20th of August.

Therefore, I should logically be charged just once and then again on the 20th this month, but as of now, I have been charged two month's worth of payment.

Although its you who contacted Adobe using the options available on their site so it should be pretty safe. Still I don't understand why the card no. is required to see if the charge is made, how can they check you card debit details, if they are checking their records then they should have the details i suppose. Please do ask these questions and share only if you are satisfied. I have not had this experience myself, so if i were you i would be a bit cautious.

Thank you! It's my first time posting on the forums (seeing how I took about half an hour looking for the forums). I just wanted to ask, is it normal if they ask me for the first 6 digits and the last 4 digits of my card to see whether I was double charged?

Thanks, I really appreciate it. 🙂
