Stuck on Lightroom plan until it expires

I have had the Lightroom 1TB subscription for some time now and I subscribed using the Apple App Store however I would like to change to the Photographyplan (Lightroom + Photoshop + 20GB) however it seems that I'm stuck until my current subscription expires at the end of this month. The checkout says that the purchase is not supported:

 

So this basically means that I can't get access to Photoshop and Lightroom Classic until the end of this month?! I have started a trial but it expires in 7 days.

Try contacting Adobe Customer Care directly. Yours is an unusual situation and they could probably help you set up the scenario you want:

Contacted Adobe support and they forwarded me to Apple Support. They could cancel it for me and now I could get the subscription I want!

Yes I tried but it tells me to go to the Apple Store and there I can only choose between a monthly and a yearly plan:

OK, so if you don't want to wait until the end of your month to make the change, can you cancel your current subscription (via the App Store if needed) and then resubscribe to the plan you want?

 

(Just use the same Adobe ID and no data should be lost.)

 

You also mentioned you "have started a trial but it expires in 7 days"... Is that with a different email address?

 

If so, you could continue that one past the free 7 days but still get a full refund within 14 additional days = 21 days total.
