ADE constantly and continuously tries to re-installs itself, NOT updating just re-installing (Windows 7 Pro x64)

I have installed ADE, but now, something starts the installer about every 12 hrs about a dozen times. Not updating the installer is the same version I have installed. Has anybody had this happen? How did you stop it?
