Digital Editions: Getting error: Unable to open Mandell, Douglas, etc., Errors were encoutered in this item.

I had tried Digital Editions Version 4 and 3.  The ebook automatically downloads to the user's network drive and the program is having trouble finding it there.  We moved the book to his desktop and got the same error.
