How do I reactivate? Keep getting message "ERROR! CHECK ACTIVATION

I recently changed my password.  Since then I have had trouble. I needed it reactivated but I still can not download from the library or open any book already in Adobe Editions. It is 4.0, my computer is an Acer notebook and my reader is Kobo. The message now is ERROR! CHECK ACTIVATION
