I'm not able to Authorize my Kobo Touch.

I'm having a problem with Adobe Digital Edition. When I attempt to authorize my Kobo touch (after I put in my Adobe ID and password). The message comes up "Activation Server Error. Code: E_AUTH_NOT_READY" The computer is running Windows8 and I have previously used a KOBO Mini on it.
