Kobo readers

Hello all!

I borrowed a book from my local elibrary. It would go onto my Kobo Touch ereader but when I tried to read it, it said that the ereader was not authorized.

When I checked through Adobe Digital Editions on the computer it said that my device (as well as my computer) were verified.

I tried to uninstall and then reinstall Digital Editions on my computer. Now when I have my eReader on and I start up Digital Editions, it does not recognise my eReader and it does not come up at all on the Left Hand panel.

Does anyone have any ideas??

I have been at this for hours and now the fact that it is not even recognising the device at all is more frustration than I can bare!

Thank you very much in advance!!

Does the device still show up as a mounted drive in Windows Explorer/Mac Finder?

If not, there is something wrong with the usb connection before you get to ADE (digital editions).

Check through the suggestions/problems in thread http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1382909?tstart=0

starting at post 5 and see if those help.
