One book won't leave my Adobe Digital Editions Screen?

When I start up Digital Editiions, it automatically displays a recent library book I downloaded. It will not allow me to select to go to the Library or to delete what's on the screen.  What is going on??  Afraid I might have to re-install.

    If you are using windows try shortcut "ctrl + l" ;

    on mac: "cmd+l ".

    This short cut should take you to library mode.
