2 Step Verification - What happens if I lose my email and phone?

Two step verification requires you to have access to email; phone number; or the application (which will likely be downloaded onto the users phone). So if the user doesn't have access to their mobile or email, either for the immediate future or permanently, is there a way they would be able to access their account and/or disable the two step verification in order to access their account?

And like Abambo and Arij mentioned, if your account was to become comprimised you'd want to contact and work with support. They would ask you various questions about the account to verify you're the account holder and then be able to assist.

Hi,

You will not lose them simultaneously.

If you lose your phone, you can log in to your account and disable the two-step verification.

If you block your email address, you can create a password with your phone and enter your account and change the email address.

To step verification sends a SMS to the number given. So as long as the number is your's, the phone is not important.

How would you loose access to your e-mail?

There is always a method to access your account but you need to prove your identity.

Thanks for your reply. I'm just thinking if you lose your phone or if it gets nicked. And if your email address gets compromised and the passwords changed.
