Hello.

I just bought Lightroom 6 for my PC as a download. I was able to licence the product, find my serial # and download the package from the adobe website. I have a brand-new Lenovo laptop, with not much installed on it just yet.

But for some reason I´m not able to install the program. It may be that the answer is too simple for me to realize it, but anyhow....

So here is what I downloaded - it´s the folder on the right. It´s a DMG archive, so I opened it with 7-Zip (was that not correct? Questioning everything at this point...). After unzipping, the folder on the left appeared.

After that, I opened the folder on the right. But, there is nothing which I can find there to double-click or open to start the installation process. Here are the contents:

All I find are .xml. documents which just contain text or whatnot. How do I start the actual installation process?? I can´t find the file mentioned in the read me Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help.

What John T Smith said.

You've downloaded a Mac installer (.dmg file).

For Windows, you need an .exe file or .zip file. Download then double click. No need for 7-zip.
