Adobe Lightroom Classic installation error code P1

Coming from Lightroom 6.14

Just trying to install Lightroom Classic from the DMG on my Mac and get error code P1 - can't install.

 

Terrible first impression, Adobe (not to mention that my firewall shows all the spyware connetions that Adobe is making).

 

If I even manage to start my trial there are already a couple of marks against using Adobe products in the future...

From my experience  v5.7 > Classic (in Windows), my suggestion would be-

1) Backup your Catalog and image files

2) Run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to un-install all Adobe products

3) Install the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App

4) Use the CC Desktop App to install your subscribed software (Lightroom-Classic) (Do not use a DMG)
