Adobe's policy: regular review almost daily?

For some time I observe a nearly daily verification of my Adobe CC subscription, is that strictly necessary? In previous times, it only happened sporadically.

Hans-g the check-in behavior you described is normal for an individual membership. If you are offline and have annual Creative Cloud Individual membership, then you have up to 99 days for the check-in process to occur successfully.

 

For month by month memberships, then you only have up to 30 days to be offline.  A verification check needs to be made to verify that the monthly membership is still valid.
