Can I even get lightroom on the computer I own?

Hello! I am using a 2008 iMac, with the yosemite Operating system I am wondering if it is possible to get Lightroom on this computer, as when I look at the system requirements it asks for a more updated one than I have now. I really want to get lightroom, but don't want to purchase it before I know if I can actually use it on my computer. I

No. Yosemite (10.10) is too old and will not run Lightroom CC or Lightroom Classic CC.

Both Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic CC require at least OS X 10.12 (Sierra).

No. Yosemite (10.10) is too old and will not run Lightroom CC or Lightroom Classic CC.
