Hey everyone,

I just bought a license for acrobat dc PRO but when i tried to install the program as a standalone it crashed during installation and gave back the error P4.

Then i tried removing everything using the cleaning tool and windows tools and removed all of the personal files and registry that might have been written.

I tried installing the creative cloud, but it keeps loading  up to a point i receive a message telling me to quit or repair the program but i keep getting this message even if i repair.

I have tried all of these with the antivirus and firewall disabled and through the administrator account.

any help would be much obliged

best regards,

.

Hi Haimza,

As you have mentioned you have tried to manually remove everything related to Adobe to resolve error P4 however, you are still unable to install the apps successfully.

There is a possibility that in this process some Adobe folders were still left in your machine and are now corrupt. To confirm that everything was successfully removed I would recommend you to perform a manual cleanup again by following the steps given here: Reactivation error unresolved after receiving new serial number from Adobe

Let us know if this helps.
