Question

Cancel illustrator? I didn’t realise my plan was automatically renewed and now I can’t cancel

Hi There

i took a plan out for Adobe illustrator almost 2 years ago. I never realised it was automatically renewed.

I didn‘t use it and knew I would have to see that year out. I only realised £20/month was still coming out when I checked back on my paypal As something wasn’t right. It doesn’t come straight from my bank. I realise I should have been more vigilant but when I went to cancel it says I will still have to pay almost £100!!

I cant afford this for something I have never used.

The cancellation fee is part of the terms and conditions when you sign up. There is no scam. It's a case of familiarizing yourself with the terms and conditions before you join.

If you join a Cloud plan, you agree to pay a cancellation fee for cancelling your plan early. If you don't agree with it, don't join.

This is a public forum, not Adobe support...

Please contact Adobe staff to help (click below). Maybe there is a possibility that there's no cancellation fee.

I didn’t suggest it was a scam at all. That’s pretty rude to be honest. I

was asking for advice. I tried to talk to someone on the support yesterday

but it kept saying it was too busy. Yes I agreed to the terms for the

year. I just didn’t realise it was automatically renewed.
