CC killing my Mac

Since upgrading to Mojave/CC19 I have had an issue with CC intermittently killing my OS.

It starts with a complete cut of of internet/network and then all Adobe applications basically refuse to quit and for a while weren't actually saving updates to my files although they were going through the save process. CC menu just produces a beach ball.

Means a hard restart each time which is a real throwback to a worse era.

For a while I was able to save it if I caught it early by quitting Premiere Pro, at which point internet/network would resume, but that doesn't happen anymore.

Any ideas?
