Creative Cloud installation not running

When trying to install either Premiere Pro or Creative Cloud on my Macbook Air (iOS Catalina) I get the following message. "Another installer is currently running, which must be closed before installing this product.  Please close other installers."  I don't have anything else running.  I have shut down my system and upon starting up again,  I get the same message.  HELP ME PLEASE
