Creative Cloud installed two different versions of PS, LR & DW

After a recent upgrade via the CC app on my Windows 10 Laptop I now have PhotoShop 2018 & 2019 in separate folders on my hard drive and both of their icons in my Start Menu. The same happened for Lightroom and Dreamweaver. Each one is taking up over 2GB of space and I'd like to reclaim that space if possible.

My questions are...would there be any reason why I need to keep both versions? Is there any chance of removing shared/common files if I simply uninstall the 2018 version?

TIA!

You can uninstall the versions you don't want.  I would wait and make sure that the new versions work OK for you.

Take note that there have been significant changes to Photoshop:

Use the Free Transform command to apply transformations

When you upgrade from CC Desktop, there is an option to Keep Previous Versions.   I actually prefer to keep older versions just in case I hate the new one.
