deactivating the license from a dead laptop

hi,

i have a cs6 license installed on an old laptop, that is now dead - no way to turn it on anymore! - and need to reinstall it on the new one, but first i need to deactivate the license from the old one: how can i proceed?

    wow, very quick!

    i tried to deactivate it by myself following your instructions, but can't find where to do it, so i think i will wait until tomorrow morning and ask for assistance
