Question

Deleting Photoshop CS6 .exe file

I purchased CS6 a long time ago and used it once yesterday, but when I tried to use it again the .exe file had been deleted and the creative cloud app insisted I obtain a subscription. I should not need a subscription for software I purchased, so how do I get that file back?

Hi

Do you use the Creative Cloud app for any other Adobe applications and do you have the install media for CS6

If you don't use the CC app and have the CS6 install media, use this tool to unistall the Creative Cloud app

https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

and the reinstall CS6

I found the installation media for PS6 and reinstalled it. I also used the tool to uninstall the creative cloud desktop, so what I paid for is now working. I still don't understand why the creative cloud would delete the PS6 exe file though. It never did that before. Anyway, thanks for the help.
