Email notification re-installing updates FAKE?

Today I received an email from mail@mail.adobe.com calling me "Dear Valued Customer" titled "Update: Changes to Creative Cloud Version Download Availability" and telling me that I have to download an upgrade to Lightroom and Photoshop or my use would be discontinued. I checked my other email correspondence and it did not look the same, the details at the bottom did not include a year and it did not use my name. As there were links included I am thinking that this is probably a malicious phishing attempt, is this anything anyone else is aware of?
