Error DF016

I tried installing the new Lightroom tonight and it keeps failing at 84% with the following error:

ERROR: DF016: Unable to create directory "\\DOMAIN\cad\users1\Floyd.Schleyhahn\..\Desktop". Error 5 Access is denied.. Try setting correct permissions to the specified file/folder or parent folder, so that admin has rights to modify it.(Seq 6641)

My Windows desktop is connected to a domain.  The directory referenced in the error is on a NAS.  I have full rights to the path.  However, I do not know what the actual directory it is trying to write to because after \Floyd.Schleyhahn\ there are just two periods then \Desktop.

I had no problems when Lightroom 5.7 was installed.

How do I get around this error?  I have uninstalled the previous version of Lightroom on my home desktop but need to get this installed on my domain connected desktop because I have already updated my catalog.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Here is what I did to fix the problem.  If you look under your C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Temp directory, you will be able to find the LR Setup file.  Once you have found it, log out of the computer then log back in LOCALLY (do not log into the domain) then browse to where that setup file is located and run it as Administrator; You will be prompted to log into Adobe Cloud during this so as long as you have Internet access without being logged into the Domain, you should be good.

I have the exact same error and issue. I too am on a domain and get to 84% before the installation fails with DF016 access denied. The full path is not displayed too.
