I don't wish to have my subscription automatically renewed at its expiration date. Please advise.

I don't wish to have my subscription automatically renewed at its expiration date. How / where do I find that option to make my intentions known?

And if that is not an option that can be indicated within my account, will selecting the cancel my subscription button work for this particular situation (without canceling my current subscription)?

Adobe must add (within its customers' accounts) the option: "I Do Not Wish To Have My Account Automatically Renew At The End Of My Current Subscription".

This will completely eliminate the need for forum members to be constantly plagued by this unnecessary question.

Of course, if Adobe is sincerely fearful of losing customers by adding such an option, it's time to assess why that fear exists in the first place.

This is a user to user forum. You may get a different or better answer from Adobe Customer Support.

A few years ago, I wanted to do the same thing. My solution was to go to my Adobe account and delete the credit card number. Once I did that, I bought annual plan redemtion codes when (and if) they went on sale at major online retailers.

I assume you are on a prepaid, annual plan. According to this page, when you cancel a plan it will run until the expiration date. ( https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html )

If you are on an annual plan, but pay monthly, it is more complicated.
