My Lightroom Classic CC is updated but won't open.

Question

My Lightroom Classic CC is updated but won't open. It says I can open it through the desktop app, but when I do, it does nothing. It was working fine a couple weeks ago, but today, the icon is gone from my desktop, and it does nothing through the app.

I have no idea what has happened, but I am getting very frustrated, and am not sure what to do to resolve the issue so I can use it again. Can anyone please help?

check your installation folder to make sure it's installed.if it is reset your preferences: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html

I did get it fixed...I had to uninstall and reinstall it for some reason, but Lightroom works fine now. NOW I am just dealing with the bugginess of PS 2019 and nothing working if you use 'edit in' from Lightroom. I am following the most recent thread on it so I can get updates when it's fixed.

Sigh...seems if it's not one thing, it's another.
