Update Lightroom

I clicked update lightroom and it forever shows it's "waiting". What is it waiting for? Is there a problem? I restarted adobe creative cloud and closed all adobe apps. I have more than enough storage on the computer. What am I missing?

Hi,

 

Thank you for posting your query here and sorry to hear about the trouble you are facing. 

 

First of all, please check if you are connected to any VPN and if there are any restrictions for Update or installing while connected to the VPN. 

 

Please Open Windows Task Manager (for Windows computer ) or Mac Activity Monitor (for a Mac) and close all Adobe processes like Creative Cloud, CLibrary, CCXProcess, Adobe Update Service, Adobe Genuine Software Service, Adobe Acrobat Update Service, AcroTray etc.

 

Also please try a system restart and retry, it should work.

 

If the problem persists, please consider uninstalling the Creative Cloud App and Open the web link : https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html and download the direct installer for Creative Cloud Desktop App.
