new to dreamweaver and want to improve

The error message is at line 2. Do not know what it means cos i am new to dreamweaver

You can try the free version of Visual Studio called Visual Web Developer as well. Also Micorosoft sell expression web - very Dreamweaver based that works only wiht .NET 2.0 and above. Supposed to do PHP soon, though not sure when

Dreamweaver doesn't support any version of .net above 1.1.

If you want to do .net work, you really need to use Visual Studio isntead of
Dreamweaver.

Hello,

Thank you very much for the mail. it is quite interesting to know that Dreamweaver does not work properly with .NEt framework 2.0. can i do everything about the web design with just Visual studio. i was thinking of doing some stuff in Dreamweaver and some in VStudio and calling all the pages from Vstudio.
