Starting to have problems with my current host, does anyone have any
recommendations for another host in the US? Need Windows server and SSL
for multiple domains.

Thanks Joe for the update...I have seen in their forums that there looks
like a few sites were hacked in April and May...As I said, I've not had a
problem, don't know about next week or beyond, but since I've been there
it's been all good...Reading the forums sounds as if, like most forums,
there's a lot of finger pointing going on...As I stated in my first post on
this, I've have a good experience with them since I've been on board, but as
always, YMMV..........

| From what I could tell, it was a straight hack. There was nothing
| else installed on the site, on a CT shared hosting plan - IIS/Win.

Sorry Joe I guess I didn't phrase it well......

I was trying to ask what type of server technology they were using, my bad
for the phrasing...I know I had a site hack a few years ago using PHP and
running PHP-Nuke...It's tough to stay current on all the patches that are
created to stop hacker issues with portals...Also crystaltech offers
DotNetNuke site installs from the console, I haven't used it but it's
there...All I was trying to see was if perhaps a portal install was part of
the hack, which may or may not be the hosts problem...Sorry I wasn't clearer
with my reply, I'll try and watch that in the future, but I am aware of the
differences............

Thanks,

I have about 10 domains that I manage. Most of them get forwarded into
the main domain. I'm wondering if a Dedicated server would allow me to
just have all those domains on that server? In other words, do you know
if they typically charge per domain or per server/domain.

What I'd really like, if it was actually saving money, to host my 10
sites on a dedicated server and even though the price of the dedicated
server is more, I could put up as many sites as I want on that server
without having to pay for each individual domain.

Do any of you know how it's done?

Thanks

Crystaltech was recently hacked - just so you'll know. A number of people
on their servers had their pages littered with fraudulent links to bomb the
spiders.
