Spry error

When adding a spry text validation field to a form, I am receiving the error "While executing inspectSelection in spry_ValidationTextField.htm, a JavaScript error occurred." This error dialog appears 3 times before clears. What is it and how do I fix it? Thanks.

It looks as though you have a corrupt cache file. Follow troubleshooting
step 4 in the following technote:
