Hi. Using FM10 (structured) & RH9…

How do you see where you placed the RoboHelp commands in your FrameMaker content, specifically the page break markers and the Dynamic HTML effects?

I'm in a document thatt I worked on weeks ago and can't tell where I added these commands, where I left off, etc.

Never played with them, but I assume that they place marker indicators into the FM doc that would be visible with Text Symbols turned on. Maybe you need to create a custom visual marker/character to label them & later pick them out easily - that's what I do for my different marker types (index, cross-ref, CSH, etc.)

You would think that, but not that I've found. Page breaks do show up as markers but the effects don't.

What about creating a new .fm doc, adding the effect & saving as MIF - then look at the MIF file to identify the effect. Then you cold use the same technique on the real file.
