Question

Alignement/rotation precise sur axe

Bonjour,

Merci beaucoup.

Damien

Damien,

Presuming live (Point) Type, you can, Smart Guides being your friends:

1) ClickDrag the LOREA by the Anchor/insertion point on the baseline (Smart Guides say anchor) to snap to the desired place on the dotted line (Smart Guides say path);

2) Switch to the Rotation Tool, the Anchor/insertion point becoming the centre of rotation, then ClickDrag (somewhere near) the other end of the basiline round to snap to the dotted line (Smart Guides say path).

The Anchor/insertion point on the baseline depends on your (paragraph) alignment (Left/Center/Right).

You can do this even without creating the dotted axis, using the top left segment of the black filled path as the axis and snapping to that, then move the LOREA to the desired position/distance using the (normal) Selection Tool or arrows or whatever.

Hello Jacob,

Thanks for your answer.

I tested the smart guides but it's very random. Sometimes it puts automaticly the text parallel to the inclide line but somethimes not. Strange.

Thanks
