Bug Reporting from Inside the App

When inside Illustrator, I clicked on help/support community and went to post a bug report about some stuff. I was pleased there was an in-app link and hoped that since I'm signed in to creative cloud and using Illustrator, it'd already know who I was and that the report was legitimated by that. I filled out the report, but then it asked me to log in. I could use Facebook, Google, or Creative Cloud.

I'm at work, and rather than bother the admin about my comany login and password - which automatically log in every day- I just plugged in my personal Adobe account. It said the user name or password was invalid. No way. So I open a new tab and log in to creative cloud with the same user name and pass word. Tried it 3 times and got in each time, just to make sure I had it right. Went back to bug reports, wouldn't let me. Same exact password and user name. Copy Pasted.
Why?

Work around: From inside the web page where I had successfully been allowed to log in, jumped through the hoops to get to illustrator's bug reporting community and transplanted the information from the bogus page to the accepted page. Badaboom. Bug reported.
It'd be a lot cooler if the in-app bug reporting just understood where it was coming from or actually accepted log-ins from other accounts, or if all it wanted was for me to verify the account password, ask for that- and only that.

THis link leads you to Uservoice which is not an Adobe owned service. So you have to unfortunately create a new account there and cannot use your Adobe account (or rather you should not use the same password)

Weird. So it says Adobe up there in the address, and I got the link from inside my CC sign in, but it's not associated with Adobe. Thanks for the explaination. They're very lucky to have this other independent organization to help out their customers.

They have a contract with Uservoice to do just what it does.
