Can't move objects or layers in Illustrator 2023

I've started to come across an issue where I can't move objects on the artboard and can't move layers in the panel. I have to completely shut down my computer to get it to work again. I have opened and closed illustrator numerous times, uninstalled and reinstalled twice now and this is a new issue with the last update. Anyone else having this issue? Working at work on a Windows 10 and never have experienced it before.
