Colors In Illustrator 2023 Look Very Bright

My day was greated with 2023 versions of my Adobe software and I'm experiencing one issue. In Illustrator 2023, colors in a CMYK document look very bright, like what you would expect from an RGB document and colors. All files created in the previous version of Illustrator share this issue. Interstingly, when I place an Illustrator file in an InDesign page, the colors are as they should be. Document color formats are all CMYK. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm having this problem, too.

I checked the color settings in Illustrator and it said my Adobe color settings were not synchronized and to do this in Bridge color settings. I did this, restarted Illustrator and now it's working like normal without the too bright colors

I'm having this same problem, it has been ongoing in past versions. I thought upgrading to 2023 would fix it. My document is in CMYK,  I've tried exporting and saving for web as png, jpg, both as cmyk and sRGB. Even the preview thumbnail of my .ai file looks brighter. I've attached a screenshot of side by side images, the one on the left is how it looks in the document, the on one the right is the png. Would appreciate any help with this! Its been driving me crazy!

When exporting PNGs Illustrator does not embed a color profile. So you need to open the PNG in Photoshop and attach the sRGB color profile to it (don't convert to profile).

Please check your color management setings.

Thanks. I needed to assign a CMYK color profile.
