I'm using dual monitors on Sonoma 14.1.1 and there is an insane lag on illustrator. I can barely click anything or move the screen. I don't have magnet installed and have the latest version. Please help!

Update to 14.4

Does it hapepn after you restart your computer and have nothing else but Illustrator running?

Do you have any other Window manager installed? There are many. Or do you have ProofPoint?

Does checking "Deactivate Native Canvas" (Photoshop > Preferences > Technology Previews)

and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

And sometimes this helps:

Go to Preferences > Performance..., uncheck "Multithreaded Compositing", and restart Photoshop.

I hope this helps

@Lil_C

I've branched your post from an old, solved thread in the Photoshop forum and moved it to the Illustrator forum for you.
