Font no longer available in version 28.0

I have a font (Helvetica Neue) that was available in previous versions of Illustrator but since the update it is no longer availab e and showing the ** next to the Font Family. The font still seems to be avaialble in InDesign 19.0. Any suggestion? Should I revert back to an older version of Illustrator to see if the issue persists.
