High resolution printing is not saved at printer driver

I do drawings to be printed. I have two Epson and one Canon printers, with photo and no photo quality. When I need to print, first, I set the quality at printer driver trough Illustrator print window. But, when I come back to driver window the resolution is standart again. So, each time I have to print I must set high quality again. This is a recent issue at Win11. When I do it at Win10 works fine (different computers).

We understand that having to redo the print settings every time can be a frustrating experience. Would you mind trying to perform a clean reinstall of the printer drivers (Canon / Epson) and checking if it helps?

 

Also, try restoring the legacy print window in Windows 11 by following the suggestions shared in this third-party help article (https://www.winhelponline.com/blog/restore-legacy-print-dialog-windows-11/) and share your observations.

Thaks for your help.

I had already done a fresh install for all printer´s drivers and for Illustrator but nothing solved the issue.

Your direction for the link helped and the help in the article works well. Now I have the legacy printer window and all settings are working fine.
