I love Illustrator and I work on a file that exceeds 200 pages in A4 size.
Of course, I can create it using Indesign or even MS Word, but I love working on Illustrator.
So I wonder how many Artboards can Illustrator 2022 handle?
Because you can does not mean you should.
For 200 a4 pages I would recommend InDesign which is made to handle longer documents and headers/footers, page numbers.
You can place Illustrator documents linked in an InDesign file . It will be more lightweight and flexible.
